當地時間8月26日上午7點左右，国足个楼中國男足代表團一行搭載的包下大巴 ，在當地警車開道的驻地最高足情況下 ，抵達多哈萬豪酒店 。酒店據了解 ，层警车全程开為了確保全團人員防疫安全 ，道护中國足協已為全員包租下酒店最高6個樓層的送国獨立居住區域 。中國隊進駐期間 ，国足个楼對手球隊不會進駐同一酒店內 。包下

由於出發前 ，道护中國足協國足保障工作組已與卡塔爾足協及當地有關方麵就國足此次出訪做了大量的送国前期準備工作 ，因此球隊抵達多哈後 ，国足个楼在落實入境及防疫檢查方麵獲得了便利條件 。經各方協調 ，代表團全員入境後 ，將直接在駐地酒店接受核酸檢測 。
全隊從包機落地 ，到抵達駐地萬豪酒店之間 ，僅用時不到2小時 。這一定程度減緩了全員的疲勞度。
據了解 ，國足代表團在卡塔爾期間將全程處於“氣泡式”防疫閉環中。全隊乘坐大巴由哈瑪德國際機場到萬豪酒店期間，當地還專門安排一輛警用摩托車及一輛警用轎車為國足車輛開道 。
卡塔爾足協提供給中國隊選擇的賽區駐地酒店共有2座 。中國足協與國足教練組經溝通後決定選用萬豪酒店。一方麵 ，澳大利亞隊已經選用了另一座備選酒店—麗思卡爾頓酒店 。另一方麵 ，萬豪酒店聘有中餐廚師。
多哈萬豪酒店是一家擁有超過40個樓層的五星級酒店 。由於酒店客房較多 ，不可能全部留給中國隊代表團使用 ，因此中國足協為全團包下了酒店最高6個樓層的獨立居住區域。
同樣為了滿足防疫之需 ，酒店為中國隊代表團預留了獨立的出入口及電梯。國足在進駐萬豪酒店期間 ，將使用獨立餐廳 、會議室 ，並享受本樓層無外人接觸服務 。
國足代表團抵達酒店後 ，將首先全員接受核酸檢測 。教練組原計劃安排全隊於當晚進行抵達多哈後的首練 。但抵達酒店後 ，球隊接到當地有關部門通知 ，必須首先在酒店接受12小時自主隔離觀察。因此 ，當天能否訓練還有待各方進一步協商。
