當比賽進行到傷停補時階段第6分鍾時 ，冲突西班牙人打出一次快速反擊 ，双方武磊回撤到中場接應 ，互相橫敲給右邊路跟上的推搡奧斯卡-希爾，奧斯卡-希爾帶球趟了兩步後再低平球斜傳到禁區弧頂 ，巴雷迅速跟進鏟搶 ，但是皮球被米蘭德斯球員搶先捅走 ，武磊在禁區邊緣與米蘭德斯球員赫納羅拚搶時摔倒在地 ，但是主裁判判罰了巴雷鏟搶時犯規在先 。
隨後赫納羅對倒在地上的武磊念念有詞 ，疑似質疑武磊假摔 ，武磊被激怒了 ，與對方發生口角，雙方互相推搡 ，武磊看起來情緒很激動 ，在主裁判介入以及對方球員勸說下 ，武磊還想要繼續找赫納羅理論。這時候梅裏達和巴雷等西班牙人球員也過來平息事端 ，武磊才迅速轉身離開 。
從慢動作回放來看 ，赫納羅與武磊拚搶過程中 ，赫納羅確實是動作過大，但是主裁判當時是吹罰了之前巴雷鏟搶時犯規在先 ，否則武磊可能會為球隊贏得一次任意球機會 。本場比賽，武磊替補登場後拚勁十足 ，他也希望在有限的上場時間裏好好表現自己 ，但是無奈隊友跟他的連線較少 ，武磊觸球次數寥寥 。根據統計 ，武磊本場比賽替補出場13分鍾 ，僅有2次觸球 ，沒有完成射門 。
