作為個性主帥，恩里恩裏克的克确決定很少受外界影響 ，小組賽次戰也不例外 。认莫仍将人在對陣波蘭這場比賽之前的發布會上 ，恩裏克明確表示 ，“莫拉塔會首發登場 ，我希望他能繼續完成他的任務 ，在攻擊線和防守方麵都貢獻自己的力量 。明天的首發 ，就是莫拉塔再加上其他10個人。”
首場比賽，有球迷由於不滿莫拉塔的表現，將噓聲送給這位主力中鋒 。在被問起球場內的噓聲時 ，恩裏克表示，“我會向大家說 ，如果你們覺得不滿意 ，如果你們看到比賽踢得像一場災難一樣，那麽請你們把噓聲送給教練 。”
恩裏克在首戰的賽後發布會上表示 ，球員們在更衣室內吐槽了卡爾圖哈球場的草皮 。對此恩裏克表示 ，“目前有工作人員在做這方麵的工作 ，希望能提升草皮的狀況 。很明顯 ，草皮狀況確實有提升的空間 ，但對陣瑞典的比賽我們也創造出了一些機會 ，我們會把注意力集中在我們能控製的這些方麵 。”
