本報訊（記者 申煒）在失去塔利斯卡之後 ，保利部分廣州隊又將失去另外一位核心外援 。尼奥昨天傳來消息 ，租借州队沙特聯賽豪門利雅得勝利隊已與廣州隊達成協議，离队保利尼奧以租借方式加盟，倒计租借期為6個月 。时广
保利尼奧對於廣州隊來說相當重要 ，承担自2015年6月加盟以來 ，薪水這名巴西國腳一直都是保利部分球隊的進攻核心 。2020年 ，尼奥保利尼奧因傷沒有參加亞冠聯賽 ，租借州队在中超賽季結束後就提前返回巴西 。离队受巴西疫情的倒计影響 ，保利尼奧始終無法獲得進入中國的时广簽證 ，此前已經無緣新賽季中超的承担前五輪比賽 。最重要的是 ，在中超限薪令執行之後 ，中超大牌外援的處境越來越尷尬 ，保利尼奧就是其中之一。
據媒體報道 ，保利尼奧在廣州隊的稅後年薪高達1400萬歐元 ，利雅得勝利隊將負擔其中接近500萬歐元（半年） ，這將是該俱樂部乃至沙特聯賽有史以來的最高薪 。至於剩下的部分工資 ，則由球員與廣州隊協商解決 。
