北京時間16日淩晨兩點，国足中國隊將在阿聯酋的有望亚全沙迦體育場迎來世預賽小組賽的最後一個對手敘利亞隊，目前敘利亞隊已經提前出線，提前而中國隊隻要再拿到1個積分也將鎖定小組出線名額 。被保部态不過國足上下並沒有圍繞如何出線去準備這場比賽，送强赛内胜在主教練李鐵看來 ，度打盡全力去打好比賽 ，叙利展示球隊自身的力争技戰術能力 ，才是国足最重要的 ，至於“算術題”的有望亚全結果 ，不是提前教練組需要考慮的問題 。
目前的被保部态出線形勢對於國足比較有利 ，國足隻要戰平敘利亞就可以確保出線 ，送强赛内胜即便是度打輸掉比賽 ，隻要小組其他對手無法取勝 ，叙利國足仍有可能出線。而且由於中國隊的比賽淩晨兩點才開始 ，而伊朗 、約旦和阿聯酋幾個主要競爭對手的比賽提前就將開打，因此很有可能出現的一種情況時 ，國足比賽開球之前 ，已經自動被“保送”進入到12強賽中 。
即便是屆時約旦 、阿聯酋和伊朗全部獲勝 ，中國隊隻要正常發揮 ，也完全有能力戰勝敘利亞 。目前這支敘利亞缺少了索馬、赫裏賓、薩利赫 、奧斯曼等核心球員 ，主力前鋒馬爾迪吉安、後腰馬穆爾也有可能因傷缺席 ，主力右後衛傑瓦耶德賽前也遭遇突發傷病 ，加之主教練馬魯爾與敘利亞足協也是矛盾重重 ，欲走還留，麵對這樣一支敘利亞國家隊，兵強馬壯的國足沒有道理不拿下對手。
事實上據了解國足內部的態度也非常堅決 ，就是要全力以赴 ，戰勝對手 ，解決杜絕保平的思想。受到疫情的影響 ，國足一年多以來難覓有實力的對手進行較量 ，此次與敘利亞的比賽 ，也是國足衡量自身實力的一個難得機會 。拿下敘利亞，對於國足提升信心 ，打好隨後的12強賽都將會大有裨益 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
