北京時間6月1日 ，曼联曼聯官方宣布 ，官方格林球隊前鋒格林伍德因傷退出英格蘭本屆歐洲杯大名單。伍德无缘
此前 ，因伤英格英格蘭隊主帥索斯蓋特公布了本屆歐洲杯英格蘭隊的退出33人初選名單 ，格林伍德入選 。兰队曼聯官方表示 ，欧洲為了徹底從傷病中恢複 ，曼联格林伍德已經退出了本期英格蘭國家隊的官方格林歐洲杯臨時陣容 。因為傷病 ，伍德无缘格林伍德此前也沒有參加今年3月份的因伤英格U21歐洲杯 。他將留在曼聯俱樂部修養 ，退出為球隊的兰队季前訓練做準備 。
當地時間6月1日，欧洲英格蘭隊將會公布本屆歐洲杯最終的曼联參賽大名單 。
