自從梅西加盟大巴黎之後 ，他和妻子安東內拉以及孩子們一直居住在五星級的皇家蒙索酒店中 ，不過梅西和家人們都希望能盡快找到一個固定的住所 。安東內拉認為粉紅宮非常符合自己的需要 ，並且已經親自到場參觀了這處豪宅 。
在做出最終決定前 ，梅西也會和安東內拉一起來到房子參觀。不過這所豪宅距離巴黎聖日耳曼俱樂部的訓練基地隻有15分鍾路程 ，這很吸引梅西，因此梅西會被說服搬來這裏居住 。目前這處房產正被蘇富比掛牌出售 ，售價高達4100萬英鎊 。不過梅西無意購買 ，而是想要租住 ，業主開出的租金為每月8500英鎊。
