首回合較量，韓國女足效力於切爾西隊的池笑然首發出場並打滿了90分鍾 。她在上半時有一次助攻 ，但下半時表現不如上半時 。效力於布萊頓隊的李金紋下半時替補出場 ，對中國女足後防線構成一定威脅 。另一位在托特納姆熱刺隊效力的趙昭賢並未出場 。預計在第二回合 ，韓國女足會畢其功於一役，派上三大旅歐隊員 。
中國女足能否雙殺韓國女足，連續7場比賽對陣韓國女足不敗(此前是5勝1平),第6次闖入奧運會決賽圈 ？或許正如賈秀全接受采訪所講的 ：“我覺得下一步要做的就是忘掉上一場比賽 ，重新開始準備，而且真正做好迎接困難的準備 。”
