多哈當地時間9月7日 ，国足中國隊迎來世預賽12強賽的明晚第二場小組賽 ，對手是移师實力強大的日本隊，結果變陣532的阿联中國隊雖然拚盡全力 ，最終還是酋沙0-1負於對手。不過相比首場小組賽，迦更中國隊本場比賽在防守端的换酒配合默契度以及協同作戰能力有了不小的提升 。與此同時 ，店期待联队热中國隊也付出了張琳芃重傷以及吳曦兩黃停賽的系球代價 。
在結束9月的国足兩場小組賽之後 ，按照計劃 ，明晚多哈當地時間明天傍晚 ，移师中國隊就將離開卡塔爾 ，阿联前往阿聯酋沙迦 ，酋沙這裏也是迦更中國隊6月份參加40強賽的地方 ，算是中國隊的福地，接下來中國隊的訓練都將在沙迦進行 。而中國隊與越南隊的第三場小組賽也將在阿聯酋沙迦舉行 ，根據賽程 ，這場比賽應該是中國隊的主場。
此前40強賽小組賽，中國隊就因為疫情政策 ，被迫前往沙迦作賽 ，對於當地的接待服務以及賽事組織 ，中國足協都頗為非常滿意 。不過此次前往沙迦 ，國足將不會再入住6月份下榻的喜來登酒店 ，而是選擇了沙迦諾富特會展中心酒店作為大本營 。
考慮到前一階段因為缺少熱身賽 ，嚴重影響到了球隊的整體備戰 ，此次前往沙迦集訓，國足希望能夠聯係一些當地球隊 ，安排幾場高質量的熱身賽 。目前阿聯酋聯賽還在進行當中 ，當地的體育官員也表示，會幫助國足聯係熱身對手 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
