6月9日15:30 ，海牛青島海牛隊將在江寧足球訓練基地體育場迎戰陝西長安競技隊 ，队第点战這不僅是阶段南京賽區的揭幕戰，也是赛程2022賽季中甲聯賽首輪的焦點戰 。6月8日14:05 ，表出職業隊主教練將偕薑寧參加南京賽區的炉首轮焦第一場新聞發布會 ，“中能體育”微信公眾號將嚐試為大家帶來新聞發布會的战陕現場直播 。
根據東道主抽簽及2021賽季成績蛇形排列分組原則 ，西成海牛隊第一階段落位南京賽區並將在前兩輪接連遭遇陝西長安競技和南京城市，为首隨後將在三 、海牛四輪對陣上賽季排名中遊的队第点战昆山隊和江西北大門 ，第五至八輪先後與南京城市 、阶段陝西長安競技、赛程江西北大門及昆山隊進行第二回合的表出比賽。海牛隊將不與小組排位相連的炉首轮焦北京理工交手 ，雙方的雙循環比賽將被安排在第四階段 。第二至三階段海牛隊根據輪轉分組的原則前往唐山 、 大連兩個賽區進行比賽 。
為盡可能以最強陣容迎接前兩輪的比賽 ，在多方努力和積極協調下 ，古拿和凱恩兩名外援已先後抵達南京賽區 ，海牛隊也成為唯一一支在聯賽開始前以三外援出戰的中甲俱樂部。對陣陝西的聯賽首戰將是檢驗近半年訓練成果 、全新陣容 、內外援實力最好的試金石 ，相比較春訓期間兩次交手 ，雙方均進行了人員補充和陣容升級 ，盡管陝西隊外援坦布因傷無法參加首輪比賽，但擁有德亞科努 、拉烏爾兩名外援的陝西隊同樣不容小覷 。
近來南京多陰雨天氣也影響到了球隊正常的訓練 ，為確保主比賽場地，中國足協在首輪比賽取消了兩隊的適應場地訓練 ，針對這一情況教練組也及時調整了訓練計劃和備戰安排 ，而明天的新聞發布會將正式拉開新賽季的大幕 。
