本報訊（記者 趙睿）中國隊新一期集訓的国足時間初步確定 ，本月18日中國隊重新集結 ，新期集訓地點依舊安排在上海 。集训40強賽主場申辦截止日期已過 ，仍老中國足協承辦已無懸念 ，面孔比賽地點則有可能是为主蘇州 。
有消息稱 ，苏州势中國隊新一期集訓大約兩周左右 ，办赛隊員仍以老麵孔為主 ，有两同時考察上一期缺席的点优隊員 ，例如入籍球員蔣光太 、国足費南多等 。新期效力於西班牙人的集训武磊不參加3月的集訓，李鐵對他給予充分信任 。仍老張琳芃正在術後康複期 ，面孔將繼續缺席。
為配合隊伍練兵之需 ，中國隊教練組將聯係部分在上海備戰聯賽的中超球隊 ，以教學賽方式幫助中國隊檢驗集訓成果。
就目前情況來看 ，蘇州可能比上海和武漢更接近舉辦這項比賽 ，首先，蘇州是上賽季中超聯賽 、足協杯比賽的賽區之一 ，對賽會製 、閉環管理等工作擁有較豐富經驗 。其次 ，蘇州具備接納5支隊伍封閉訓練的硬件設施 。
