主帥德波爾說 ：“如果我們殺進前四，标夺我會認為我們做的冠德过点不錯 ，不過我們的容荷目標是奪冠 ，那才是兰已徹底的成功 。有很多球隊的经练球隊有著同樣的想法 ，我們有能力成為冠軍，德波的目但要取得冠軍 ，尔们所有的标夺工作必須都要做好 。我發現從我們這半區的冠德过点話有一大利好 ，那就是容荷1/8打完之後 ，能休息5天再去巴庫 ，兰已然後在在半決賽前也能休息5天 。经练但這也是德波的目我唯一看到的優勢 ，我們必須先擊敗捷克 。”
“他們依靠一個團隊，他們知道想得到什麽 。他們將是一個很難對付的對手，也是傳統上我們很難對付的一個對手。我們必須發揮最佳水準才能擊敗他們 。我們在比賽中有不同的表現 ，對烏克蘭 ，我們控球好 ，防守差 ，對奧地利情況正好相反 ，而在對北馬其頓時，我們兩方麵都表現得很強大 。”
中場大將弗倫基·德容說 ：“我會在點球大戰中罰點球嗎 ？我不知道，要問教練。我們已經練習了點球 ，需要我罰的話我就去罰 。捷克隊是一支很好的球隊 ，他們紀律性很強 ，組織很好 ，球員有著很強的個人能力 。我們隻有打出最佳水準才行 。自從球隊集中以後 ，情況變得越來越好 ，我們開始打一個全新的戰術體係 ，這總需要一些時間 ，還有提高的餘地 。我認為我們仍然在提高中 ，希望明天能再邁出一步 。”
