北京時間5月12日 ，基耶将赛季末2021-22賽季意大利杯決賽 ，利尼离开國米逆轉戰勝尤文奪冠 ，尤文斑馬軍團本賽季遭遇“四大皆空”的平静窘局 。賽後 ，喜悦尤文功勳球員基耶利尼在接受媒體采訪時表示，告别自己將在賽季末離開尤文 。基耶将赛季末
基耶利尼說道 ：“周一我會向尤文球場說再見 ，利尼离开我會帶著平靜與喜悅和尤文告別 ，尤文這100%我的平静決定 。”
知名轉會記者羅馬諾表示，喜悦基耶利尼已經收到了兩份來自美職聯俱樂部的告别報價 ，其中一家是基耶将赛季末洛杉磯FC 。
基耶利尼現年37歲 ，利尼离开自2005-06賽季起效力於尤文圖斯，尤文跟隨球隊多年 ，是尤文昔日後防“BBC”的重要成員 ，至今已為斑馬軍團出戰559場比賽 。另外 ，基耶利尼也曾是意大利國家隊的中流砥柱，去年夏天他和博努奇搭檔的“後防二老”幫助藍衣軍團成功奪得歐洲杯冠軍 。遺憾的是 ，新科歐洲杯冠軍未能闖入2022卡塔爾世界杯正賽 。
