北京時間5月18日 ，范志中國足壇名宿 、毅李前國家隊隊長李瑋鋒現身上海，玮锋此行他將與老大哥範誌毅聯袂代言由歡動遊戲出品的站台街機經典《三國戰紀2》手遊 。在接受記者采訪時 ，国足範誌毅和李瑋鋒兩位中國足壇的出线代表人物對於即將開戰的40強賽信心十足 ，兩人都認為 ，没问中國隊隻要正常發揮，题场40強賽出線沒有問題，范志“國家隊應該有信心走得更遠 ，毅李也應該對12強賽早作準備 。玮锋”
“中國國家隊目前的站台精氣神都不錯 ，比賽也越來越近了 ，国足12天嘛 ，出线這些什麽關島 、没问馬爾代夫 、敘利亞、菲律賓 ，這些都不應該成為中國隊的對手” ，範誌毅說 ：“40強賽都出不了線的話 ，考慮下一步都沒有意義，先把這四場比賽打好是關鍵 ，4場1-0就夠了 ，也是一樣的結果 ，打多少個也沒用 。關鍵是有輕重緩急的區分 。我們占據天時地利 ，這四場比賽不會有問題 。”範誌毅表示 。
李瑋鋒也認為 ，中國隊出線問題不大 ，“40強賽出不了線 ，衝擊世界杯也不要談了 。最關鍵的是 ，我們給國家隊強有力的支持，幫助國家隊去掃除障礙 ，任何事情往前看 。所有的足球人都希望這支球隊好 ，能夠找到2001年的狀態 ，讓這支球隊在亞洲範圍內具備競爭力。”
範誌毅認為，這個時刻 ，需要給國家隊和李鐵創造寬鬆的環境 ：“不是單一的隊伍 ，或者足協，整個足球圈需要共同打造一個好的氛圍 。李鐵跟大頭從小在一起，我們也是曾經的戰友 。這個時候我們需要全力支持李鐵 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
