在圖赫爾上任後 ，祖馬隻為切爾西踢了9場英超聯賽 ，他在球隊已經失去了位置 。不過西漢姆還需要說服祖馬同意轉會 ，目前祖馬在切爾西的周薪為12.5萬英鎊 ，而他要求西漢姆提供一份大幅加薪的合同才願意加盟 。而西漢姆隊內的第一高薪是亞爾莫連科的11.5萬英鎊周薪，祖馬的加薪要求可能影響到西漢姆隊內的薪資 平衡 。
