沙迦當地時間7日傍晚 ，意外中國隊進行了抵達阿聯酋之後的曝国首堂訓練課 。讓人感到有些意外的足教总监自带是 ，在熱身訓練結束之後，练组练中國足協技術總監比利時人克裏斯·範普維爾德親自下場，补充帶隊進行了傳接球訓練 。技术
由於昨天是克里國足抵達之後的首堂訓練課，整個訓練時間並不是斯亲很長 ，而克裏斯指導的队训訓練時間大概在十幾分鍾左右 ，訓練內容以傳接球為主 。新血值得一提的意外是，這是曝国克裏斯首次親自下場地帶領國家隊進行訓練 。
作為中國足協技術總監和國足顧問，足教总监自带克裏斯·範普維爾德此前曾經長期在比利時國家隊工作 ，练组练擔任技術總監一職 ，不過在中國國家隊 ，克裏斯基本上是一個“隻顧不問”的角色 ，在國足訓練場邊從來都是一言不發，隻是在私下場合 ，才會針對訓練和比賽內容，向教練組提供一些技戰術方麵的建議 。
據了解 ，克裏斯親自參與國足訓練 ，也是足協主席陳戌源的要求 ，目前國家隊教練組人手並不充裕 ，針對這一情況 ，陳戌源希望作為技術顧問的克裏斯能夠更多參與，更積極主動得發揮技術總監的作用 。
首堂訓練課 ，克裏斯帶隊進行了十幾分鍾的傳接球訓練 ，不過主教練李鐵還是國家隊技戰術的第一責任人 ，國足日常訓練計劃和訓練目標還是由主教練李鐵負責製定 ，克裏斯在此基礎上也會提出一些小的調整建議 ，以達到更好的訓練效果 。（搜狐體育 裴力）
