北京時間7月15日 ，沪媒会国第十四屆全運會男足U20組決賽階段分組抽簽結果揭曉 ，全运上海全運男足U20隊與浙江 、安队北京和湖北同屬B組 ，备战東道主陝西與新疆 、受亚赛成四川 、冠影遼寧分到A組 。否参該項目決賽將於8月10日到19日在陝西鹹陽舉行 。沪媒会国
目前 ，全运上海全運男足U20隊正在大連展開集訓 。安队對於分組抽簽的备战結果 ，主教練唐田表示 ：“決賽階段的受亚赛成對手各有特點，實力都很強 ，冠影我們每場比賽都必須全力以赴 。否参現在距決賽階段隻有不到一個月的沪媒会国時間了，我們必須抓緊時間認真備戰 ，團結一心做好自己 ，努力達成既定目標 。”
本屆賽事中 ，闖入決賽階段的上海隊和同組的北京隊被視為奪冠熱門 。不過北京隊的備戰因亞冠聯賽受到影響。
7月15日下午 ，北京國安俱樂部官方宣布 ，參加亞冠比賽的代表團在回國前進行雙檢時有個別成員核酸檢測結果呈陽性 。根據中國的入境規定及當地防疫要求 ，目前代表團已經就地隔離 ，將在相關成員康複並通過嚴格的防疫檢測後集體回到國內 。
這支參加亞冠比賽的球隊是國安U21梯隊，由揚科維奇掛帥，其中的適齡球員也是北京全運男足U20隊的主要成員。
按照原計劃 ，球隊將在結束亞冠任務回國並接受必要的隔離後再參加全運會男足U20組決賽 。如今 ，球隊能否趕上8月10日開打的比賽暫時不得而知 。
