北京時間1月29日，曝博據英國媒體《太陽報》報道 ，格巴博格巴本人表示願意留在曼聯——前提是尼克朗尼克繼續擔任球隊主教練 。這位中場球員在與紅魔新任主帥的打动担任多次交談當中 ，對他印象深刻 ，愿留以至於他準備好繼續留隊 ，曼联而不是核心在今年夏天以自由身離開俱樂部 。
