據悉 ，尽管仅剩巴黎此前曾想引進B席但最終無果 ，狼队由於巴黎主帥加爾蒂希望球隊能引進一名防守型中場和中衛 ，合同B席的法媒放弃經紀人門德斯向巴黎推薦了登東克爾 ，這名27歲的巴黎比利時國腳可以踢這兩個位置 。不過巴黎總監坎波斯還是引进決定不競爭登東克爾 ，盡管球員與狼隊的登东合同還剩一年 。
