根據賽程 ，接下來中國女足將於7月24日下午對陣讚比亞女足 。本屆奧運會12支女足參賽球隊被分入3個小組 ，每個小組的前兩名和成績最好的兩個小組第三名將獲得晉級八強的資格 ，因此隻要中國女足下一場擊敗讚比亞女足 ，仍然有小組出線的機會。
