馬斯喀特當地時間3月28日中午12點30分 ，李霄老队中國隊舉行了與阿曼隊比賽前的鹏国賽前發布會。中國隊主教練李霄鵬出席發布會 。足无珍惜對於明天的缘世因为比賽 ，李霄鵬表示 ：“明天就是界杯机最後一場世預賽12強賽了 ，希望全隊能夠有好的实力發揮，希望明天能夠取得好的不够結果 。”
有記者問李霄鵬 ，李霄老队因為比賽不會改變出線形勢 ，鹏国明天的足无珍惜比賽是否顯得有些無足輕重了？對此李霄鵬表示 ：“我想 ，明天對方的缘世因为教練也不會這麽想 ，對中國隊來說也是界杯机一樣 ，沒有一場比賽不重要 。实力所有球員都將全力以赴打好這場比賽 。不够”
因為沒有成績上的李霄老队包袱，是否會給年輕球員更多的機會 ？對此李霄鵬表示 ：“我曾和隊員說過 ，隻要我們穿上這身衣服 ，不管對手多麽強大 ，我們都必須要迫使自己變得更強大。對明天的比賽而言 ，我們不會想那麽多 ，我們肯定會全力以赴去進行比賽 。至於是否會安排更多的新人上場 ，應該說 ，上一場比賽 ，隊伍出現了傷病 ，因此明天至少2個位置需要進行調整 。這種強度的比賽 ，出現傷病也在教練組的意料之中 。換上的球員 ，最大的問題是盡快適應比賽的節奏 。其他的都沒有什麽問題 。”
在被問到訓練場邊跟隊員交流時 ，為何會提到“珍惜”一詞時，李霄鵬表示 ：“我昨天也跟隊員說 ，這場比賽 ，對於很多老隊員來說，很可能就是世預賽最後一場代表國家隊出場的機會 ，這個不用隱瞞 。所以我希望他們珍惜 。”
阿曼隊的角球戰術比較有特點 ，在被問到如何應對時 ，李霄鵬表示 ：“我們在第一回合比賽中 ，丟的球就是對方的角球進攻 。上一場 ，阿曼又是通過角球進越南一球 。他們的角球戰術比較有特點 ，主要是兩個，一個是在小禁區內圍住守門員；另一個是常規戰術 ，然後突然尋求變化。我們在昨天訓練的時候 ，就重點演練角球戰術 ，告訴隊員們如何進行防守 。在比賽之中 ，我們肯定需要更集中注意力 ，注意這一點。”
