根據《體壇周報》統計 ，缺席中超16強目前有14名巴西外援無法歸隊 ，第阶段国大鲁按入境要求 ，安恒這些巴西外援大概率可能缺席第一階段的中超重创5輪比賽 。而新賽季中超將取消外援均衡保護政策 ，也就是說對陣雙方無需向上賽季那樣考慮對手的外援人數 ，這對上海海港等外援全部回歸的球隊來說無疑十分有利，而像廣州隊、北京國安 、山東泰山等隊則非常不利 。
