近日 ，莫拉塔出現在了西班牙首都馬德裏 ，西班牙媒體《El Golazo de Gol》詢問了他有關未來的問題 ，但他拒絕做出回應 。盡管沒有做出回應，但是《世界體育報》方麵認為 ，莫拉塔此番回到馬德裏 ，或許與其轉會巴薩的緋聞有關 。
西班牙記者Helena稱 ，莫拉塔簽約巴薩有三大阻礙，而其中之一就是尤文必須簽下代替者 ，現在這一阻礙已經消失 。另外的兩個阻礙，第一是巴薩需要降低工資支出 ，第二是巴薩需要與馬競達成協議 。
