媒體人潘偉力表示 ：“廣州隊的球迷，可以做好極端情況下 ，恒大繼續獨立堅持玩下去的準備了 。接下來的日子 ，可能會有不少“講不出再見“ 。另外呼籲一下，廣州的大中小企業老板們 ，如果相信這支球隊還有足夠的本地吸引力的話 ，這會兒是各種合作讚助的絕佳抄底時機。 ”
媒體人趙宇表示 ：“支持限薪 。但一線隊優秀主力（隻有3人）最高年薪稅前60萬的標準也是離譜 。中國足球就是這樣 ，總在走極端 ，從一個極端走向另一個極端 ，不是什麽好事 。”
值得一提的是 ，就在該標準被曝光前 ，廣州隊官方宣布與5名歸化球員艾克森 、高拉特 、阿蘭、洛國富 、費南多完成解約。有媒體人更是對此表示 ，與歸化球員解約 ，意味著他們可以自由身與中超其他球隊簽約 ，此前艾克森就被曝出正在等待來自中超球隊的報價 ，該俱樂部正是他的前東家上海海港 。（DD）
