伊布人設向來是自信到自負 ，如今在接受《法國足球》專訪時 ，单论神塔維持了自己的实力人設 。《法國足球》提前放出了部分專訪內容 ，不比伊布宣稱自己與C羅 、梅西梅西是差金同一檔次的球員 ，他把自己視為世界最佳 。球奖缺少伊布甚至表示不是伊布自己缺少金球獎 ，而是单论金球獎缺少了他 。
伊布職業生涯從未贏得過金球獎 ，实力但他卻仍然顯得極為自負：“我是不比否缺少金球獎 ？不 ，應該反過來說 ，梅西是差金金球獎缺了我 。”

由於膝蓋受傷 ，伊布不但缺席了歐洲杯 ，而且新賽季中一直沒有出場 。本周末，AC米蘭將在聯賽中對陣拉齊奧 。據《米蘭體育報》報道稱 ，伊布將會在這場比賽中複出 。伊布已經隨隊合練了一周多 ，他能否首發還是個問號，但皮奧利肯定會給神塔出場機會 。
