通過在某二手交易平台搜索發現 ，大多數被轉售的二手獎牌都是俱樂部發行的限量紀念產品 。官方頒發給球員的獎牌也有零星在賣的 ，但多是來自預備隊聯賽 、足協杯等賽事 ，真正的中超金牌 ，除了這塊江蘇蘇寧隊的之外，就隻有一塊2009賽季北京國安隊所獲得的金牌了 。有所不同的是 ，國安隊金牌的賣家是專營體育收藏品的商家 ，其售價高達2.5萬元。
對於這枚中超冠軍獎牌的真假 ，不少球迷認為5000元的價格實在太廉價 ，因此對其真實性產生懷疑。不過 ，對於這枚金牌 ，前國腳徐亮發出視頻 ，專門對金牌進行了鑒別 ，他直言這枚獎牌真實性可靠 ，應該就是真實的中超冠軍金牌 。不少球迷網友都紛紛表示 ，“體育人這碗飯，吃得不容易。”
其實在二手商品交易平台，搜索中超冠軍 ，會發現多支前中超聯賽冠軍 、足協杯冠軍的獎牌（金牌 ，甚至還有銀牌 、銅牌）在售 。山東魯能是2021賽季中超聯賽和足協杯的雙冠王 ，其聯賽金牌和足協杯金牌就有人在售 。此外 ，蘇寧的中超聯賽冠軍獎牌（2020年） 、國安的足協杯冠軍獎牌（2018年） 、國安的中超冠軍獎牌（2009年） 、恒大的足協杯金牌（2016年） 、申花的足協杯冠軍周邊產品都有掛賣 。其中，江蘇蘇寧的中超冠軍獎牌（金牌） ，有除了這枚出售5000元，還有一枚售價1800元 ，但頁麵提示已經賣出 。
