曼聯門將德赫亞表示 ：“當我們看到有隊友呼吸困難 ，我們不禁想起了埃裏克森和阿圭羅 。看到球員在球場上這種情況真的讓人擔心 ，我希望他沒事 。這和比賽無關，最重要的是健康安全 。”在今夏歐洲杯比賽中 ，丹麥球員埃裏克森因心髒驟停暈倒在球場上 ，之後被送往醫院搶救 。而巴薩前鋒阿圭羅本賽季也被查出心髒疾病 ，將缺席很長時間 。
賽後曼聯主帥朗尼克透露 ：“林德洛夫當時呼吸困難，心率高於正常水平 ，他有些震驚 。我不記得這是怎麽發生的 ，但之前他剛和另一名球員發生了碰撞 。在比賽結束後我們對他進行了檢查，似乎一切都很正常 。但我們必須等到明天再看看情況，希望他能恢複並參加下周二對布倫特福德的比賽。”
