近日，鲁梅已經退休的尼格尼奥拜仁慕尼黑俱樂部前CEO魯梅尼格日頻頻在公開場合接受媒體的采訪 。在接受意大利廣播電視公司Rai Sport采訪時 ，穆里這位昔日拜仁大佬透露 ，曾示最终葡萄牙名帥穆裏尼奧曾表態有意執教拜仁慕尼黑 ，好拜而當時南部之星正在考慮弗裏克離任後的仁们接班人。
魯梅尼格的选纳說法是，“穆裏尼奧是鲁梅我們的一個候選人 ，而且我不得不承認 ，尼格尼奥他向我表態 ，穆里他想要來到德國 ，曾示最终想執教拜仁慕尼黑。好拜”
不過 ，仁们後來的选纳答案外界也都明了 。拜仁最終還是鲁梅選擇了年輕的納格爾斯曼，而穆裏尼奧也選擇執教意甲羅馬 。對此 ，魯梅尼格也進行了解釋 ，“很遺憾，這是不可能的事情 ，最終我們決定選擇一個性格不同的 ，但也許更加適合拜仁慕尼黑的人 。”但是 ，魯梅尼格並沒有透露他們拒絕的原因 ，“之後 ，我們就推動了納格爾斯曼的簽約 。”
末了 ，魯梅尼格強調了自己對穆裏尼奧的尊重 ，“我對穆裏尼奧非常尊重 ，我希望他在羅馬能夠取得成功 ，他是個了不起的教練 ，也是世界上最好的教練之一 。”
無獨有偶 ，早在幾個月前 ，德國足壇名宿 ，曾效力過拜仁 ，也曾和穆裏尼奧共事過的巴拉克也曾透露 ，他知道穆裏尼奧和拜仁慕尼黑有過接觸，他當時表示 ，“我並不知道他們距離有多近 ，他們的對話到了什麽程度 。我隻是知道這個事情，穆裏尼奧和拜仁有過接觸……”
