同時熱刺也在考慮亞特蘭大的29歲烏克蘭中場馬利諾夫斯基，本賽季隊內進攻線球員接二連三的遭遇傷病 ，主教練孔蒂希望進攻線能有更多的選擇 。
馬利諾夫斯基本賽季代表亞特蘭大出場14次其中5次首發 ，打進1球貢獻2助攻 ，球員合同明夏到期 ，身價為1800萬歐 。
