“我很早就知道浙江隊”，援已员们也友弗蘭克一開始就這樣說道。经和他開著玩笑繼續說 ：當時這支球隊還叫“綠城”，练深流球所以他對俱樂部的入交印象就是很多的綠色元素。當結束隔離第一次踏進中泰訓練基地 ，浙江主教弗蘭克忍不住向翻譯感歎 ，队新“這麽多樹木和綠化 ，援已员们也友和我想象中的经和綠城完全一樣。”
實際上，练深流球俱樂部在兩年前就聯係上了弗蘭克，入交並對他進行了長達兩年的浙江主教追蹤和考察。這段時間裏，队新弗蘭克也在了解浙江隊——他從網上找了資料 ，援已员们也友也詢問了在中國踢球的克羅地亞球員 ，比如桑蒂尼 ，還有我們熟悉的薩米爾 。“薩米爾告訴我這是一支非常職業的俱樂部 ，就算比起歐洲俱樂部來說 ，也不差 。”
