北京時間23日上午，吴曦文中國隊依舊選擇在厚湃爾體育場進行訓練 ，国足隊長吳曦接受了記者的场热采訪 。在蒿俊閔因傷缺席的身赛时也说中情況下 ，吳曦和於大寶被任命為國足的模拟新隊長，對於即將開打的战叙40強賽，吳曦表示，菲归要做好對於困難的化球準備 ，防止意外情況的员平發生 。
“這是吴曦文40強賽之前最後一次集訓，還有兩場比賽 ，国足對手要模擬菲律賓和敘利亞 ，场热希望通過這兩場比賽把團隊的身赛时也说中凝聚力和技戰術打法更加穩定成熟 。”吳曦表示 ：“做好困難的模拟準備，賽會製的战叙比賽 ，間距比較短，身體和心理都要做好充分的準備 ，也會有挑戰和意外的情況發生 ，我們需要做好困難的準備 。”
談到隊長一職給自己賦予的新使命 ，吳曦表示：“作為隊長 ，要輔助教練把團隊在平時的訓練全力以赴 ，包括生活中的紀律 ，能夠完成好 ，平時多呼應 ，多講話 ，起到隊長的作用 。”
對於和歸化球員的溝通 ，吳曦表示 ，非常順暢 。“整體氣氛比較好 ，跟他們開開玩笑 ，他們也會說一些中文，主要還是大家多溝通 。”
談到主教練對於中場位置的要求，吳曦表示：“針對每一個對手，針對性的安排和部署不一樣 ，接下來看這兩場比賽如何去調整 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
