談到賽前備戰情況，萨布始防守沧狮薩布利奇說道：“大家下午好 ，利奇今天是踢国端午節 ，祝各位節日快樂。州雄聯賽今天就將開始 ，全力我們是萨布始防守沧狮梅州賽區最後出場的球隊 ，祝各支球隊好運 。利奇今年仍是踢国賽會製比賽 ，對我們而言是州雄個挑戰，但我們已經準備好 。全力同組其他球隊都很有實力，我們周日的對手是聯賽中實力最強的球隊之一 ，我們要踢好比賽 。”
蘇祖表示：“大家好 ，準備期很長，我們已經完全準備好了 。賽區其他隊伍都很強，我們會全力以赴 。”
當被問及踢國安時是否會以防守為主 ，薩布利奇回答道 ：“麵對強大的對手我們要做好各方麵的準備 ，但並不意味著我們從一開始就要防守 ，我們要做好自己 。”
談到炎熱天氣對球隊的影響時，薩布利奇說道 ：“我們的隊員都已經做好準備 ，近兩年的賽會製讓大家都適應了密集的賽程 ，我們會盡全力準備 。”
當被問及作為球隊後防核心 ，如何限製國安的進攻時，蘇祖回答道：“我的比賽經驗很豐富 ，有信心限製住國安的攻擊線 。”
