2022卡塔爾世界杯將在11月份開打 ，英媒英格英國媒體《鏡報》透露 ，世界首轮計劃前往卡塔爾支持英格蘭的组赛足张球迷們遭到了沉重的打擊 ，因為在首輪小組賽中，兰球三獅軍的迷门球迷們隻分配到了2489張球票 。
三獅軍團將於11月21日開始卡塔爾世界杯之旅，英媒英格據悉 ，世界首轮國際足聯已經向英足總確認 ，组赛足张每場比賽隻為參賽球隊的兰球球迷預留了球場容量8%的球票 ，在首輪小組賽中英格蘭球迷隻分到2489張門票 。迷门其中 ，英媒英格1785張球票屬於價格最低的世界首轮第三類座位 ，每張53英鎊；595張球票屬於第二類座位 ，组赛足张每張126英鎊；剩餘的兰球100張球票是價格最高的第一類座位 ，每張168英鎊 。迷门
如果英格蘭從B組順利出線 ，並且在巴伊特體育場（該球場容量為6萬人）進行三場淘汰賽，那麽英格蘭球迷在1/8決賽分到3009張球票，其中第三類球票2175張 ，每張81英鎊；第一類球票100張 ，每張385英鎊 。如果英格蘭晉級1/4決賽 ，英格蘭球迷至少將獲得3509張球票。其中第三類球票2550張 ，票價173英鎊。；第一類球票100張 ，票價358英鎊；其餘球票價格為243英鎊。
另外 ，若英格蘭晉級半決賽 ，三獅球迷可以獲得4609張球票 ，其中3375張票價為300英鎊 ，還有100張的門票的價格為804英鎊/張 。這就意味著 ，如果一位英格蘭球迷觀看三獅軍團在本屆世界杯的每一場比賽 ，且三獅軍團最終闖進了決賽 ，那麽他至少需要花費1221英鎊 。另外 ，英國媒體敦促沒有買到門票的球迷不要前往現場 ，《太陽報》表示 ，任何沒有官方門票的球迷都會被卡塔爾拒之門外。
卡塔爾旅遊局CEO特倫克爾表示 ：“隻有持有世界杯比賽球票的球迷才能獲得簽證。他們需要官方球迷身份卡才能入境卡塔爾 ，而那些沒有球迷身份卡的人不會獲得簽證 。”
據悉 ，此次世界杯比賽期間將有150萬球迷湧入卡塔爾，若這一數據成真，那麽本屆世界杯有可能成為繼1970年墨西哥世界杯之後 ，52年以來球迷參加人數最少的一屆世界杯 。
