B費在加盟曼聯後的下怒發揮總體來說不錯，但是怼朗這位葡萄牙中場也有短板 。B費非常適合踢大開大合的曼联比賽 ，他的爆发不满被换快速傳球非常犀利，威脅極大 。内讧尼克但是在對戰馬競這樣的強隊時 ，由於對手的壓迫 ，B費的技術無從發揮 ，快速的傳球經常失誤 。
上輪英超聯賽 ，博格巴在前腰位置出戰，曼聯發揮出色 ，3-2擊敗熱刺。而周中的歐冠對戰馬競的比賽 ，朗尼克出人意料的讓B費出任前腰位置，沒有了博格巴的曼聯發揮令人失望 。最終朗尼克在比賽第67分鍾將B費替換下場 ，讓博格巴出戰。
首發做出了錯誤的選擇，為了提升將B費換下 ，這本是一個正確的選擇 。但是朗尼克此舉惹怒了B費 。英國媒體《每日快報》稱 ，B費對於朗尼克換下自己的決定感到憤怒 。換人時 ，B費看到了換人牌上寫著自己的號碼 ，他本人非常不滿 ，也做出了拒絕的肢體動作 。
其實我們從數據方麵看 ，朗尼克讓B費下場也是正確的選擇 ，在其出場的67分鍾時間內 ，B費創造1次得分機會；3次對抗全部失敗，16次丟失球權 。在《曼徹斯特晚報》賽後的評分中，B費被評為5分 。
