《荷蘭電訊報》稱 ，荷蘭足協也不會在一棵樹上吊死 ，除了範加爾外 ，荷蘭還有B計劃與C計劃 。其中B計劃是一名荷蘭籍的主帥 ，而C計劃是外籍主帥 。但不到萬不得已 ，荷蘭不會邀請外籍主帥。
