登貝萊在2017年加盟巴塞羅那之後 ，揭秘戒掉一直沒有撕掉自己“水貨”的巴萨標簽 。近期 ，妖刀迎爆法國前鋒的复苏狀態有了明顯的提升 ，ESPN透露 ：登貝萊聘請了一個高級廚師 ，秘密改變了自己的睡觉飲食和生活習慣 ，這成為自己狀態開始改變的网瘾根本原因。
此前巴薩連續2輪對陣塞維利亞 ，揭秘戒掉登貝萊都是巴萨為紅藍軍團打進關鍵進球。本賽季登貝萊合計為巴薩打進8球 ，妖刀迎爆助攻4次 ，复苏這是秘密法國人加盟巴薩以後進球第二多的賽季 。2017-2018賽季法國人頻繁受傷，睡觉2018-2019賽季表現尚可 ，网瘾而上賽季再次頻繁陷入受傷的揭秘戒掉夢魘 。
本賽季登貝萊已經為巴薩出戰31場比賽 ，距離在巴薩的單賽季出場紀錄42場還有9場。在巴薩鋒線球員頻繁出現受傷和狀態低迷的情況下 ，登貝萊在科曼手下逐漸占據了主力位置。而登貝萊自己聘請了一個懂得運動營養學的法國廚師 ，通過大量攝入紅色水果和蔬菜來增加蛋白質的攝入 ，從而改變自身的身體素質 。
另外登貝萊還堅持按時睡覺 ，不熬夜 ，這和自己過去的生活習慣相比是發生了翻天覆地的變化。要知道2年前登貝萊被曝經常熬夜上網打遊戲 ，吃垃圾食品 ，從而導致身體素質變差 ，白天訓練頻繁因為睡過頭而遲到 。
而登貝萊和巴薩的合同到2022年到期 ，紅藍軍團必須在今年做出關於登貝萊的去留決定 ，未來巴薩新主席的意願很重要 。
