人員上的捉襟見肘也最終導致了熱刺全場被全方位吊打 ，熱刺在上半場比賽0射門 ，半場射門比為0-7。
易邊再戰 ，情況沒有改善 ，紮哈多次利用盤點優勢撕開熱刺邊路防守，水晶宮也最終在下半場連入三球贏下了比賽 。
全場比賽 ，熱刺以2-18的懸殊射門比遭到水晶宮吊打 ，值得一提的是，在今夜三球大敗之後 ，熱刺此前3連勝所帶來的3個淨勝球也被一夜抹平 。
