北京時間4月9日，意媒尤文邀请來自意大利媒體《足球市場》的留C罗有两消息稱 ，C羅留隊的法宝問題上 ，尤文找到了捷徑，签马齐祖隻要簽下馬塞洛並邀請齊達內到斑馬執教 ，塞洛C羅就會大概率選擇繼續留在尤文踢球 。意媒尤文邀请
尤文在新賽季戰績不佳 ，留C罗有两球隊僅獲得一個意大利超級杯的法宝冠軍，在意甲賽場僅位居第4位 ，签马齐祖已經基本失去了衛冕冠軍的塞洛可能 。在最重要的意媒尤文邀请歐冠賽場，尤文的留C罗有两成績也沒有任何突破 ，麵對著公認的法宝大禮包球隊波爾圖 ，尤文因為客場進球的签马齐祖劣勢被淘汰。
與尤文低迷的塞洛發揮不同 ，C羅依舊在球場上展現出色的實力 ，截止到目前為止為尤文打入25個意甲進球，最近12個賽季11次在聯賽中打入25+進球 ，同時他還是目前意甲的射手王 。
也正是因為如此 ，許多媒體與球迷認為尤文配不上C羅，有關C羅會離開的消息不斷 。而尤文高層的看法卻是留住C羅 ，此前尤文副主席內德維德在接受采訪時曾經承諾 ，C羅下賽季會繼續在尤文踢球 。但是現在的問題是 ，C羅自己想留在尤文嗎？
《足球市場》認為，尤文簽下馬塞洛與齊達內 ，就會加大C羅留隊的概率 。馬塞洛與C羅在皇馬一起踢球多年 ，兩人都是左路球員，配合默契 ，而且日常生活也是好友 。同時在桑德羅助攻能力下滑的情況下 ，尤文也需要對左路的進攻進行改善，而馬塞洛則是一個不錯的選擇 。另外 ，在皇馬 ，馬塞洛已經不是主力 ，門迪才是第一選擇 ，因此馬塞洛投奔尤文的阻礙已經消失 。
齊達內球員時代曾經在尤文踢球 ，而他對尤文也有感情 。“意大利永遠在我心中 。尤文圖斯對我而言一直很重要 。我不知道你們是否還會在意大利見到我，現在我在皇馬 ，讓我們到時再看看。”齊達內曾經這樣說道 。《阿斯報》更是發文稱“齊達內離開皇馬執教尤文圖斯不是問題 ，隻是時間問題 。”
